After rocking Toronto, Trinidad, Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Bachchan’s Unforgettable World Tour moves to Houston, Texas on August 2. 90s diva Madhuri Dixit joined Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on stage in LA and San Francisco; they performed their Devdas hit number Dola Re together.
The show has enjoyed an enthusiastic response from global Bollywood fans who have been willing to pay as much as £250 for a ticket to see their idols mime and dance to their hit film songs.
“Yes, we have been told the prices are high,” Abhishek Bachchan admitted when I asked him why the tickets were so costly. He explained: “The prices are not in our hands but the local organisers. We have asked them to reduce the prices for future shows. We are sorry if some fans could not see the show due to this.”
This steep pricing was especially apparent in Trinidad where many Bachchan-lovers could not afford to take their families. Local Trinidadian promoter Mahendra Persad explains: “In Trinidad it was not a profit making venture. Ticket sales were not enough to pay for local expenses.” Persad’s company had to foot the £45,000 bill for the megastars and the 158 people who travelled with them for their two night stay at the five star Hyatt Regency Hotel in Trinidad’s capital, Port-of-Spain. Persad asks: “How could tickets have gone for less? It will not be worthwhile for us to bring such a show again.”
Abhishek, on the other hand, is keen to revisit the twin island republic: “My memory is driving from the airport to the hotel and seeing myself on the Motorola billboards. We will be back!” I asked Abhishek when we can expect to see them actually singing and dancing like Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan do in the current smash film ‘Mamma Mia’. “We are singing and dancing,” Abhishek stated. I pointed out that they mimed. Bachchan jnr smiles: “I might be singing, you never know!”
The Unforgettable Tour moves from Houston (2Aug) to Atlantic City (9 Aug), New York (15 Aug), Vancouver (16 August), then London (24 Aug) and ends in Düsseldorf, Germany on 30 August.

I dont think so they are making their daughter in law a showcase.. she is an artist.. she is the miss world. she is a film actress. thats her career too.. she looks very happy and enjoyed her performance.. I dont think so bachchan's will making her perform. she is self made person.
